This bear mascot is a fully rigged 3D model.
His name is “FT”
An AI generated space-bear was created as reference
Using this AI space bear reference, a traditional rendered scene using the rigged “FT” bear is desired.
Because the AI bear has almost no neck.
The helmet-bear fit would not be the same that on the FT bear.
Testing revealed the bear-helmet interaction and shape are flawed; redesigning the helmet for a cuter/nicer look is required
Task requirement:
Three sets of clean line sketches showcasing a cute space bear:
A- A tighter helmet:
In this case different situations can come up like:
- The ears of the bear could get squished because of the small helmet
- The helmet could have specific protrusions/pockets to accept the ears and so everything would be tight but according to the bear’s head shape
- other
B- A normal fit helmet
Depending on how close is the fitting, a similar situation to “A” could take place where there could be small pockets, or the helmet could be round
C- A loose fit helmet similar to in size to the initial test but more cohesive cuter
Each set of sketches should have a front and side view.
